How Agent Agency Works
You paste a link to what you promote. Agent Agency reads up to five public pages from it, plus your llms.txt if you have one, and drafts a Product DNA that you correct and approve. You pick where to be present, starting with Reddit, and the agents draft comments, posts and DMs. In Approve mode each one waits for your OK; on Autopilot they act inside your limits.

The five steps at a glance
- Paste a link
Your website works best. We read public pages only. - Approve your Product DNA
A summary of your product, drafted from those pages, that you correct and approve. - Pick where to be present
Reddit is live. Connect your accounts and set each persona. - The agents read, then draft
They read first, then answer questions. Product mentions stay under a daily cap. - Approve mode or Autopilot
Review every post, comment and DM, or let the agents act inside your limits.
Step 1: paste a link
There is no brief to write. The reader starts with your llms.txt, then the home page, then up to four same-site links from your llms.txt, pricing and feature pages first. Without those links it tries the usual paths, and if it still has fewer than two pages it checks your sitemap.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| How many pages? | Up to five: the home page and up to four more, plus llms.txt and llms-full.txt. |
| Which sites? | Only the URL you submit and pages on the same site. |
| JavaScript? | Not run. A site that builds everything in the browser gives it little to read. |
| How much text? | At most 20,000 characters per page. |
| robots.txt? | Applied only to pages it guesses or finds in the sitemap. |
Step 2: approve your Product DNA
The Product DNA is a summary of your product written from those pages: who it is for, how it sounds and what it never says. The draft covers positioning, audience, use cases, tone, competitors, how the product may be mentioned and what to avoid, plus a category, keywords in English, Turkish, German and Spanish, and a first list of subreddits, each with a short reason.
You correct the draft and approve it. Until you do, the agents have no DNA to read. The category is yours to change. When you approve a new version, the one it replaces is kept as superseded, not deleted. The DNA does not update itself when your site changes, so edit it after a relaunch or a pricing change.
Step 3: pick where to be present
Reddit is live, and the Reddit agent comments, posts and answers DMs. The platforms page shows the status of every other platform. They open one by one, and the dates there are targets that can move.
You connect your own accounts and keep the karma they earn. We recommend accounts at least 30 days old with some history. Your DNA and the persona you set decide whether an account speaks as a founder or a team member, and what it never says. See brand account or founder account if you are unsure.
Step 4: the agents read, then draft
New accounts that start selling right away are often removed by moderators. So the agents read first, then answer questions. On Reddit the account earns its place in three stages, and the agent mentions you only when it genuinely answers the question, after the account has earned standing there.
- No bare links, no copy-paste replies. Product mentions only when they answer the question, under a daily cap.
- Mostly plain help. Most of what it writes never names your product.
- It comes back. It returns to a thread for days to answer whoever replies.
- Limits and quiet hours. The Reddit agent keeps to daily limits, reads each community's rules, and by default is quiet from 23:00 to 07:00 in the account's time zone.
- Visibility checks. From time to time it checks that the account's posts are still visible to others (see the shadowban guide).
Step 5: Approve mode or Autopilot
| What changes | Approve mode | Autopilot |
|---|---|---|
| Who sends | You. Every post, comment and DM waits for your OK. | The agents, on their own, inside the rules and limits you set. |
| What you do | Approve, edit or discard each draft. One left undecided for 48 hours is not sent. | Set the rules and limits, then read the daily report. |
| Default | On. | Off until you switch to it. |
Either way, the daily report lists what the agents did and what they skipped, and why. Coins pay for the work: a post, a comment, a discovery run. Pricing is announced with the first invites.
Disclosure is your call, and the rules still apply
You decide how your accounts say who they work for. That choice sits inside rules you do not set. Reddit's site-wide rules ask people to take part authentically, not to spam, and not to deliberately mislead others or impersonate anyone. In the US, the FTC's Endorsement Guides say that when a connection between the person recommending a product and the seller could change how much weight readers give the recommendation, and readers would not expect it, the connection has to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously (16 CFR 255.5). A business relationship counts. For wording that works in a comment, see clear disclosure in a comment.
Questions
Which link should I paste?
Your main website, ideally one that serves its text as plain HTML. An App Store listing can be read too. If your site builds its pages in the browser, add an llms.txt with a plain description of the product and links to your pricing and feature pages, since the reader starts there and does not run JavaScript.
What happens to a draft I do not answer in Approve mode?
It waits for you for up to 48 hours. After that it is not sent, because a late reply to a thread that has moved on reads oddly and helps nobody. You can approve, edit or discard any draft before then, and the decided ones show up in your history.
Can it keep my account from being banned?
No tool can promise that. Reddit enforces its own rules and can remove content or restrict and suspend accounts, and each community has rules of its own. The agent avoids selling from day one and dropping bare links, keeps daily limits and quiet hours, and stops working on an account that a platform restricts.
